The advertising of 200 products and more made sense to me. I decided that I wanted in.
Minor Problems in my way
But I have very little experience with sales. And living on Social Security Retirement left little to invest or live on. I am 78. But I have never looked at age as something to stand in my way. after all, it is only how many times I have made the trip around the sun.
Here is The Skinny of It
So I started by following what Rory and my instructor told me to do. Modify your PBS on every page. There was only one small problem. All of my ads directed the money to someone else. It was a small problem, but exasperating.
Quit is an Ugly Word!
I decided not to quit, But to start over again. Thirteen times I started over, Each time to correct something I learned from Paul that I had left out. And the virus made a mismatch in my PBS. That called for a complete rewrite of everything. I have applied for Google AdSense and I am waiting to hear back from them.
Was that my only problem? Not by a long shot!
First was the computers. That is right. More than one. My MAC developed a run-away screen, and could not be fixed. The second went belly up when my landlord knocked a wall on top of it. The computer did not survive.
Next, I was evicted from my apartment. No, I was not late on my rent. Since the Landlord decided to turn the buildings into condos. And now he is now asking three times my old rent. While I ended up living in my car through the heat of June. With no access to the internet.
Hot Spot to the rescue? Don’t Believe it
Did you know that a hotspot gives you limited access? I was told unlimited, but that was not the truth. After two more Hot Spots with too little internet to watch an entire webinar. That is when I bought the 5G Gateway. And it is working quite well—basically no access to the internet for 3 months.
The Government is No Help!
I also learned that I make too much money for any kind of help. But not enough to rent a room.
You know that ugly word that Niles speaks about – QUIT! I am too old and too stubborn to do that!
What my PBS Gives Me & what-i-intend-to-gain
- A mobile home will do me just fine, and they are a lot cheaper than a house.
2. Restore my 1993 Oldsmobile to its original condition. I bought it for $100. And it runs like a dream.
3. Buy a few houses for prison releasees to get out on their release day. There is quite a shortage of such places. Also, help them find good employment. Because everyone deserves a second chance.
